Up to 60% of caregivers report infants rejecting oral medicines because of taste—and around a quarter link taste to missed or partial doses. It isn’t only bitterness. Standard syrups are loaded with artificial cherry, strawberry or orange flavours that are completely foreign to babies who’ve only ever tasted breast milk or neutral formula. The result? Stress, tears, under‑dosing and repeat attempts.
BioSoothe recreates the gentle sweet–creamy–fatty notes of mature breast milk using food‑grade compounds (e.g., γ‑lactones, vanillin derivatives) and pairs them with proven bitterness blockers. We deliberately avoid overt fruit/candy esters. The concentrate is added at just 0.01–0.2% w/w—so manufacturers can drop it straight into existing paracetamol suspensions with no process overhaul.
